SEASONED gospel musician Mathias Mhere will unveil his 11th studio album this Friday at Rainbow Towers.
Mhere has titled the nine-track project titled Akati Anesu (Emmanuel).
He has included an array of artists including Jona Chivasa, Dorcas Moyo, Mbeu, Voltz JT, and Fungisai, who will perform at the launch.
Mhere told H-Metro that all the logistics are now in order.
“We are ready for the launch this Friday, and I am asking for God’s grace to go through with this launch.
“Like any other event that involves the name of God we faced a few challenges and inviting all your prayers so that we make the unveiling a success,” said Mhere.
The musician has also reunited with superstar Jah Prayzah on a collaboration titled, “Ndini Here?”.
Afro-jazz artist, Mbeu, is also featured on a song titled Kana Zvamubata.
The album is a product of both Lyton Ngolomi and KB Studios.
Mhere is also set to release his first joint collaboration with friends including Baba Manyeruke, Fungisai, Kuda Mutsvene, and Jona Chivasa, among others.
“The message in all my songs is clear and I am happy to continue talking about how God’s grace changed me throughout my career.
“A lot of people, including corporates, all have a past to look back to and point out how they grew from being small into becoming leading entrepreneurs.
“I have included a number of artists on the album superstar Jah Prayzah just to give the album an appeal,” said Mhere.
