Soulful house trio, Mi Casa and afro-pop musician Ammara Brown have been added onto the Victoria Falls Carnival line-up, joining recently announced DJ Black Coffee.

Mi Casa with their electric mix of soulful house, jazz instrumentals, addictive hooks and insane dance moves, are expected to rock carnival goers on December 30, together with Black Coffee.

Zimbabwe’s very own queen of the stage Ammara Brown with her afro-dancehall hits will be performing at the New Year’s party for the first time. Vic Falls-based DJ Francis has also been added and will be performing at the fete for the sixth year.

Event spokesperson, Emmanuel Tivatyi said tickets were already on sale with a 3-Day festival ticket cost $90, $65 for a 2-Day ticket (30th & 31st December) and $50 for a Year’s concert ticket.

“Black Coffee and Mi Casa are performing on 30 December so people wishing to see them perform live must have a 2-Day or 3-Day ticket to attend,” said Tivatyi.

He said preparations for the festival were going on well with more artistes set to be revealed in due course.

“Everything is going according to plan and we’re still engaging more artistes. Once we finalise their contracts, we’ll release their names.
