Middle Sabi irrigation rehabilitation commences

Work to rehabilitate the Middle Sabi Irrigation Scheme has commenced with the aim to revive water supply at the scheme.

Zinwa Save Catchment manager Engineer Tendai Muyambo said the rehabilitation work is centered on repairing and replacing water pumps as well as drilling additional boreholes to ensure uninterrupted water supply to farmers.

She said, once complete, the project will ensure food security and improve the living standards of communities at the scheme.
