New Commissioners take oath of office

PRESIDENT Mnangagwa is today presiding over the swearing-in of newly appointed Commissioners to key constitutional bodies, including the Zimbabwe Media Commission, Zimbabwe Gender Commission, Zimbabwe Electoral Commission and Zimbabwe Land Commission, at State House in Harare.

The ceremony brings together the newly appointed Commissioners, senior Government officials and Cabinet Ministers as the appointees formally assume their responsibilities.

The newly appointed members of the Zimbabwe Media Commission are:

 Susan Makore

 Caesar Zvayi

 Munyaradzi Hwengwere

 Rufaro Ellen Mhandu

 Thokozile Chitepo

 Merit Thokozile Munzwembiri

 Tapiwa Mashakada

 Tanaka Muganyi.
Those appointed to sit on the Zimbabwe Gender Commission are:

 Cowen Dziva

 Thokozile Ruzvidzo

 Mildred Mushunje

 Tsanangurai Chirau.
Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission

 Anele Ndebele appointed chairperson
Zimbabwe Gender Commission (ZGC)

 Dr Leslie Ncube appointed chairperson
Zimbabwe Electoral Commission

 Sheuneni Kurasha appointed Commissioner
Zimbabwe Land Commission

 Professor Mandivamba Rukuni appointed Deputy Chairperson

 Dr Mabel Ndakaripa-Hungwe
