ZIMBABWE are set to play Mozambique and Lesotho in the group stages of this year’s HOLLYWOODBETS COSAFA Women’s Championship that will be staged in Gqeberha, South Africa from October 22 – November 2.
The Mighty Warriors, who were semi-finalists last year, are in three-team Group D.
According to the draw held at COSAFA House in Johannesburg today, hosts South Africa, who are record seven-time winners of the competition, headline Group A which includes Namibia, Eswatini and debutants Seychelles.
Defending champions Malawi will be in Group B alongside Botswana, Madagascar and Mauritius.
The 2022 winners Zambia are in three-team Group C together with Angola and Comoros. The top teams in each of the pools advance to the semifinals.
