Milton on way out of Bosso

HIGHLANDERS FC striker, who played as a leftback in the national team, Milton Ncube will leave Bosso during the mid-season transfer window, Chronicle Sport has established.
This takes to three the number of players that are set to leave the Bulawayo giants during their title campaign as poster boy Kudakwashe Mahachi will be heading to Mamelodi Sundowns following the expiry of his loan while Rio Moyo will join countryman Tendai Ndoro at Mpumalanga Black Aces in South Africa.

Ncube, 26, was on target for Zimbabwe last week when they beat Malawi 4-1 in Blantyre in an international friendly match.
According to impeccable sources the utility player who joined Bosso at the beginning of 2012 season after being offloaded by former champions Motor Action, will join either Ajax Cape Town or Durban side Amazulu.

Just like in Moyo’s case, Bulawayo giants will not get a cent from Ncube’s move as his contract with Highlanders has a clause that states that the club has nothing to do with his future moves.

Amini Soma-Phiri’s developmental side Luveve Big XI according to an authoritative source, has the rights of the player and it is not clear how much his club will get.
Sources said the Highlanders board was very disturbed by the issue of players leaving for free and are meeting tomorrow to discuss the issue during their combined meeting with the executive.

Clubs like Dynamos, Bantu Rovers, Chicken Inn and How Mine, have been reaping rewards from sale of their players to South African league while Bosso the “sleeping giants” provide a platform for players to shine and leave for free.

Club secretary Andrew Tapela and treasurer Jerry Sibanda were assigned the responsibility to negotiate players’ contracts on behalf of the club.
Highlanders members who feel hard done following the loss of Masimba Mambare to Dyanamos and Njabulo Ncube, will be demanding answers from the leadership  regarding the issue of open contracts.

“Because of the performance he displayed during the Chan tournament in South Africa in January, Milton was able to attract a number of clubs and he was supposed to have joined Ajax Cape Town with Simba Sithole (ex-How Mine) but there were some issues that needed to be addressed first. He will be going back to Ajax Cape Town and Amazulu are also interested in him. Milano, who are in the First Division and are eyeing promotion, are also keeping a close eye on the player.

“Unless something happens, I don’t think Milton will last the whole season and Highlanders are getting nothing because he has a clause that allows him to move. Actually he signed a contract similar to Rio’s,” said the source.

Repeated efforts to get comments from Milton and his manager George Deda were fruitless as him mobile phone was unreachable.
Bosso chairman Peter Dube said player contracts were confidential.

“We have nothing to hide and we do not stand on players’ way when they want to move. Unfortunately Milton Ncube belongs to Luveve Big XI and Highlanders cannot comment on the player because he is not ours. I believe the best people to talk to about his possible move are Luveve Big XI officials. However, we have not received anything official from his club.

“About contracts, each player negotiates differently and I believe these matters are confidential,” Dube said.
The danger that Highlanders face now is that Ncube and Moyo might not commit themselves fully fearing that they might get injured before moving to greener pastures.
