Mine collapse traps 5 in Muzvezve

EFFORTS are underway to rescue two of five artisanal miners who were trapped at Shasha Mine in Muzvezve under Mhondoro-Ngezi last Tuesday.

The other three victims’ bodies were retrieved on Friday.

Mines and Mining Development Deputy Minister, Dr Polite Kambamura who confirmed the latest development this morning, said efforts were underway to rescue or retrieve the remaining trapped miners

He said that some large scale mining companies were assisting.
