Chitse Clinic brings medical services closer to the people in Chitse and Mudzengerere.
Prior to its construction, residents had to travel distances of up to 50km for medical attention.
The facility with modern amenities funded by Red Graniti-Roserock comprises the main clinic building and six staff houses. The clinic has a full complement of clinical equipment, beds, linen and furnishings.
Other developments at the clinic include a borehole with electric pump whose capacity is adequate for the clinic and the surrounding community, water reticulated toilets, an electric geyser system and Blair toilets.
The company also installed four overhead water storage tanks, a shower system for the clinic main building and staff houses, granite floors and a perimeter fence at the clinic.
Construction of Chitse clinic was a show of true co-operation and good relations between the community, local leaders, Government and Red Graniti-Roserocks.
The community contributed bricks and labour to the project while the company provided employment to community members that were involved in the construction of the clinic.
