Minerva Risk Advisors in partnership with Staywell recently rewarded farmers who had excelled in Harare.

The competition, Rima Ne Minerva , was for PHI Commodities. Goals of the ceremony were for rewarding good farming practices and performance. The farmers’ winner categories involved best wheat grower of the year by delivered average yield, best wheat grower of the year by delivered quality and most improved grower of the year.

In an interview, Minerva Risk Solutions accountant executive Mr Addison Magaisa said: “This competition is part of our corporate social responsibility where we are giving back to the farmer in recognition to good farming. As you might be aware crop indifference doesn’t cover bad agriculture practices.

“So, by coming up with this programme we are saying well done to good farmers and good agronomy practices.
