GOSPEL musician, Minister Michael Mahendere, says his brother Misheck remains his mentor and source of inspiration.
Michael, who is celebrating 30 years in music, shared the stage with Misheck at the just-ended ‘July Worship Music Festival’ (JWMF). The crowd cheered as Misheck was introduced to the stage to worship alongside his brother and the Direct Worship band at Harare Gardens.
The stage was completely dark except for a single white spotlight illuminating the Mahendere brothers.
Running under the theme ‘Celebrating the Beauty of Diversity’ the festival saw people coming out in their numbers from Thursday to Saturday.
“Celebrating 30 years in music, I want to honour my brothers for mentoring me. I am who I am because of them.
“I am honoured to invite Misheck, my brother,” he said.
Minister Ellard, Sharon Cherayi, Bridget Ndanga, Eleana Makombe, Tsitsi, Mai Tande, Psalmist Hubert C, Tapiwa Masara, Misheck Mahendere, Larry Gunda, Pastor Josh Kays, and Blessing Jeduthan gave some good performances.
