MULTIPLE award-winning gospel artist, Minister Michael Mahendere, started the year on a good note by winning an award at the Zimbabwe Community News Awards (ZCNA).
He won in the category of Excellency in Gospel Music Messaging Award.
Speaking to H-Metro, Minister Mahendere said he was honoured to be recognised at the third edition of ZCNA.
“I am happy to be recognised. We have been ministering the gospel of God through music. The message carried in the music we are doing is the ultimate purpose of our existence. We share God’s word, hope and victory through music.
“So, when you get such an award, you look back and say we are doing a good job,” he said
Minister Mahendere promised to remain on top of his game and he is already preparing for future projects.
“As you can see, we started the year on a good note and my prayer is that we continue doing good work. I have other projects in the pipeline which will be revealed in due time,” he said.
