Minister Matuke on Mashonaland West familiarisation tour

Minister of State for Provincial Affairs in the Office of the President and Cabinet Lovemore Matuke is on a familiarisation tour of Mashonaland West Province.

Minister Matuke addressed a joint sitting of the Mashonaland West Provincial Development Committee (PDC) and the Zanu PF Provincial Coordinating Committee.

The meeting, he said, was aimed at improving the working relationship between the ruling party and the Government to ensure effective implementation of the party’s conference

and congress resolutions.

He called on all stakeholders to work hard to achieve Vision 2030.

“We have to work round the clock if we are to achieve Vision 2030 two years ahead of schedule in 2028 as proclaimed by our visionary leader, His Excellency, the President, Dr

ED Mnangangwa,” he said.

Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Marian Chombo said the meeting taps into the whole of Government and society approach to development.

Zanu PF Provincial chairman Cde Mary Mliswa-Chikoka stressed the importance of the party being involved in implementing Government programmes.

Government heads of departments and ministries, Members of Parliament, Zanu PF party officials and councillors are among those in attendance.
