THE Minister of State for Bulawayo Provincial Affairs and Devolution Judith Ncube has officially opened the first 2026 combined Provincial Development Commitee (PDC) and Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) meeting at the Mhlahlandlela Government Complex on Thursday.
The PDC/PCC meeting brings together the leadership of the ruling party Zanu PF, Government departments, the local authority, private sector and development partners to discuss development issues in Bulawayo Province.

“This meeting is an important forum for implementing our national vision, as it brings us together to evaluate progress in our province, address challenges, and collectively strategise for sustainable development. A strong working relationship between Zanu PF and Government is critical in bringing development within our communities.
“As a province we are guided by the National Development Strategy (2) and Vision 2030, which call upon us to accelerate inclusive economic growth, improve service delivery, and uplift the standard of living for our people,” said Minister Ncube.

Minister Ncube said it is critical for Bulawayo Province to continue strengthening planning, monitoring and accountability mechanisms to ensure projects are delivered on time, within stipulated budgets and leave measurable impact on communities.
“Let us also remember that our communities expect tangible results from us, and we muat not fail them. Let us engage constructively, share innovative ideas, and commit ourselves to transforming Bulawayo Province into a vibrant, productive and prosperous province,” she said.
