Minister of Information to officially launch Twasumpuka FM in Binga

MINISTRY of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Permanent Secretary Mr Nick Mangwana has arrived at Twasumpuka FM premises ahead of the official launch by the Minister Dr Jenfan Muswere.

Hundreds of locals are gathered at the Govera area where Twasumpuka FM is located for the launch today.

Running under the tag line Twaambo Twini Kuluundu, Twasumpuka FM is one of 14 community radio stations that were licensed by the Second Republic.

Seven of the community radio stations are in Matabeleland North and South provinces.

Twasumpuka FM is situated in Binga Town and broadcasts in Tonga within a 40KM radius.

Dr Muswere will be joined by Matabeleland North Minister for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Richard Moyo, Chiefs, Binga council CEO Mr Land Kabome and various senior Government officials in the official opening ceremony.

The community radio station started renovations in 2022 and broadcasting last year.
