Minister Sanyatwe tours Chahwanda Stadium

MINISTER of Sport, Arts, Recreation and Culture Anselem Sanyatwe has arrived at the Chahwanda Stadium where he is set to tour the facility Monday afternoon.

The Minister is accompanied by the Minister of State for the Midlands Province Owen Ncube, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Sport Nicholas Moyo, and senior officials from the Ministry.

Chahwanda Stadium was constructed by Kwekwe businessman Shephard Magodora. It is the home of Premiership newboys Hardrock, also owned by Chawanda.

The 15 000-seater arena was constructed along the Gokwe Road, less than half a kilometre from the Harare to Bulawayo Highway.
