Ministers’ consultative workshop postponed

A consultative workshop aimed at considering the draft economic blueprint which was scheduled to take place between today and tomorrow has been postponed, deputy chief secretary in the Office of the President and Cabinet Retired Colonel Christian Katsande has said.In a statement released yesterday, Rtd Col Katsande said the workshop, which includes Ministers and deputy Ministers would now take place on September 27.

He said the venue and starting time of the workshop remains the same.

“The Office of the President and Cabinet hereby informs all honourable Ministers, deputy Ministers and all invited delegates that the Government of Zimbabwe consultative workshop which was scheduled for 24-25 September at Pandhari Hotels has been moved to Friday 27 September 2013. The venue and starting time remains the same,” reads the statement.

After brainstorming by Ministers and other officials, the blue print is expected to be pushed through all the Cabinet policy processes for possible adoption.
