Ministry of Health dismisses fake Nurse Aid intake advert

The Ministry of Health and Child Care on Wednesday warned the public about a fake advertisement to recruit Nurse Aids which is circulating on social media.

“The Ministry of Health and Childcare wishes to advise members of the public that it has NOT advertised for any Nurse Aide Intake as purported by a Fake Advert making the rounds across some social media platforms,”it said on its twitter handle.

“Members of the public are also hereby warned to be wary of fraudsters who are bent on fleecing unsuspecting people of their money in the guise of such adverts.”

The fake advert sets October 28, 2022 as the closing date and invites applicants to register on a given mobile phone number.

Recently some unscrupulous individuals have been taking advantage of the economic challenges the country is facing to fleece the public through adverts inviting people for training, mostly as security guards, till operators and recently nurse aides, with false promises of employment or assistance to find jobs after the training.
