YADAH coach, Genesis Mangombe, says they are aiming for maximum points when they host Bulawayo Chiefs on Friday.
The two teams clash at the National Sports Stadium.
The Miracle Boys have been in good touch of late, and came close to beating Chicken Inn last week.
“I’m happy that the boys are now doing well and have managed to collect points in our past games.
“And, we are gunning for maximum points, going into this game.
“We want to make sure that we move away from relegation and we will not be anywhere near the relegation zone,” he said.
Mangombe says they should have picked all three points against the Gamecocks.
”We had a good game, against one of the top teams, which is organised, in terms of the way they do things.
“And, I respect their coach as well, this is, however, a match we should have won, with a bit of concentration.
“We had planned to hold back and attack them when opportunities came and we did that very well and, for us, it’s an important point”, he said.
Mangombe says they were not underrating Chiefs.
“Chiefs are a good side and have been playing well off late.
“We don’t need to get carried away because of this draw, we are going to take this game seriously so that we can also have consistency in winning.
“Chiefs have also managed to win over big teams so that shows they’re determined.”
He added:
“We need to win this game so that we raise our hopes of ending in a better position than last season.
“I’m happy that my boys have really improved and some of the things are coming up and, as a team, we now have that transition so things are coming up very well.
“We need to make sure that we work on everything for us to collect three points in this game.”
