YADAH coach, Genesis Mangombe, takes his giant-killers to Kariba for a Castle Lager Premiership date against ZPC at Nyamhunga tomorrow.
The Miracle Boys were the toast of the weekend after they shocked Dynamos 1-0 at the National Sports Stadium.
Ageless forward, Ralph Matema, scored the only goal of the match.
Tomorrow’s match pits the two clubs who embarrassed the capital’s giants – Dynamos and CAPS United.
Speaking to H-Metro, Mangombe, said their initial mission was to try and avoid defeat.
“We are playing away from home and normally you will try to avoid defeat,” he said.
“It’s either we will try to manage a draw or we will try to go for a win if everything goes to our plan.
“So, we are preparing to stop ZPC and it’s not going to be that difficult.
“We will play our normal football and we will try to build from the back, as usual, and also try to upset the opponents by trying to find an early goal.”
He said the victory over DeMbare had boosted morale.
“The boys are ready, the competition is very high and everyone wants to go to Kariba and play for the winning team,” he said.
“When you have collected maximum points, playing the giants, it means getting three points, even away from home, is possible.
“We play possession-based football.
“The pitch at Nyamhunga is a bit smaller so I think, with the way we want to play, we can keep possession more ,compared to when we are at the National Sports Stadium.
“Our squad is fully fit and we have no suspension. Everyone is available for selection.
“We are going there for serious business and we want to secure some points there.
“Taking on Rodwell Dhlakama is not going to be easy. He is my brother and mentor, they are also trying to pull out of the relegation zone.
“Both teams will be playing for a win and it’s not going to be easy.”
