NEW female Zimdancehall artist, Miss AKA 47, says she aims to be the next top chanter in the country.

The talented songbird, who started her musical journey in 2015, has released a new song titled Mbiri.

The song has an accompanying video.

Speaking to H-Metro, she said:

“My dream is big. I want to be one of the big dancehall artists and to share and collaborate with big names too.

“My journey started in 2015, and it has been tough, but I’m here to keep pushing till I get what my heart desires.

“I see myself and my music going beyond the borders.

“My new song Mbiri has been received well and I’m very excited by that. It motivates me to keep going,” she said.

Her manager, Edwin Mutsagu, said she is already working on some 2023 music.

“We need to release music early next year, and we want her release consistently during the course of the year,” he said.

Born Tabeth Tagwirei, the female chanter is a gifted composer, but lack of financial support has been her biggest let down over the years.

She, however, remains confident that she will conquer through hard work and sound management.
