H-Metro Reporter
THE 12-year-old Epworth girl, who disappeared last month after her grandmother accused her of stealing US$150, has been found.

Princess Gede, who ran away from home on December 17, was found at the Epworth Social Welfare offices where she had sought refuge.

The girl’s mother, Evernice Nyati, 30, told H-Metro that a social worker contacted them after reading the story about the missing child in H-Metro.

“On January 3, officials from the Department of Social Welfare called me to verify if the child they were keeping was the one I was looking for.

“The Department of Social Welfare officials helped us to get her since she had provided another surname,” Nyati said.

She they were happy that Princess was found in good health.
