The 35-year-old Chitungwiza man who went missing for almost a month in unclear circumstances was last week found dead in Wenimbi Dam in Marondera.
Prosper Takudzwa Musegedi (35) of house number 6717 Unit J, Chitungwiza who was employed by Zimplats in Ngezi as a mechanic went missing on October 10 when he was off duty.

Prosper reportedly went out of their home at around 3.30pm saying that he was going to Unit J shopping centre.
Police believe that Musegedi was kidnapped and killed by unknown assailants.

It is still not clear how Musegedi was murdered and police are conducting investigations on the case.
His family positively identified the body. Musegedi was found by a fisherman last Tuesday and a post mortem was conducted at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals last Thursday.

On October 10 at around 3.30pm Musegedi, the father of two girls left home saying he was going to the local shops and never returned home.
The following morning he phoned his wife saying he was on his way home but did not say where he was.

A friend close to the family yesterday said Musegedi was buried at Warren Hills Cemetery on Saturday.
