THE story of a Sunningdale man with albinism, who has been sleeping in a bathroom and was being denied food by his family, has triggered a mixture of responses.
Admire Kudakwashe Machingauta, 36, spent some days feeding on leftovers at funerals.

Tawanda should go and stay at his father’s house and let Admire enjoy living in his father’s house. Each and every person should enjoy his or her parents’ inheritance. —Osondu Owendi

lt’s heartbreaking that we continue to hear such hatred and mistreatment of people with albinism. Imagine if your own family can do this to you, how much more discrimination you will get from the outside world? In this case, though, I feel encouraged by the support from neighbours to a point of protesting and exposing these harsh conditions. May their actions lead to a change in Admire’s circumstances and living conditions at home. — Poppy Smith

Sometimes when we comment on these platforms you must think first because some of us we might see the dark side in you no-matter how much you try to hide it. Even akanzi ane 40 years achembera hazvina basa, he is like any munhu pano pasi he must not be treated like an animal. From the way this albino guy is being treated then it will only be one side story no two sides here. — Munashe Munnet Virgo Chidemo
