MOB winner announced

Gogwe was also presented with an apple laptop and smart phone worth R25 000 by a South African based businessman Comfort Dhewa who runs Comfort Resources company.
“I am grateful to the producers of the show and my family for supporting me.
“The past four months has been the best and the US$5 I spent on audition is the money I well spent in my lifetime,” said the ecstatic Gogwe.

He also announced that he would invest the money in a company; he together formed with Kasimoni called Connect Link Agency.
Announcing the winner, prominent businessman Nigel Chanakira who was the head judge of the four months long competition described Gogwe as “focused, creative, ambitious, down to earth young man.”

For being a runner up, Kasimoni will be given a stand bought from Philip Chiyangwa by Nigel Chanakira.
The judges were left with a difficult decision in determining the winner as both contestants showed excellent marketing skills.
There were also two surprise contestants who were challenging the two — Simanga Zhou and Munashe Mugarisanwa.
While Mugarisanwa was the biggest flop with nothing to show, Zhou was a serious contender and if he had joined the competition on the onset he could have given Gogwe and Kasimoni a good run for the money.

In five days, Zhou managed to secure a car for a ruffle draw and an endorsement deal with leading retail shops.
However, he could not wrestle the prize from Gogwe and Kasimoni who were mentored by the country’s top entrepreneurs.
These included Securico managing director Devine Ndhlukula, BancABC CEO Doug Munatsi, AAG founding President Phillip Chiyangwa, and Spiritage Group CEO Zach Wazara.

Others include Big Grape CEO John Bere, Trust Bank CEO Nyevero Hlupo, One Turn Mining chief executive Chamu Chiwanza, National Foods managing director Jeremy Brooke and Industrial Development Corporation general manager Mike Ndudzo and Willowvale Mazda Motor Industries managing director Eng Dawson Mareya among others.

Armed with the mentorship and tutorship Gogwe sold 10 cars whilst Kasimoni sold over 700 refrigerators.
Zimbabwean investor, Shingi Mutasa who was the guest speaker encouraged youths to be the masters of their destiny.
“From these contestants, I have noticed entrepreneurial skills that will take these youngsters places. They should just exhibit confidence and determination and grab the opportunities,” he said.
