Reigning Miss Intercontinental Zimbabwe Rumbidzai Muzopa, has departed for Egypt to represent the country at the Miss Intercontinental pageant.
The model left the country this afternoon at Robert Gabriel International Airport and was sent off by her family, friends, fans and modelling boards.

“This is a dream come true for me. I’m honoured to carry the Zimbabwean flag on such a big international stage. I’m going not just as Rumbidzai, but as a voice and face of Zimbabwean beauty, strength and culture,” she said during her send-off.
Though calm and composed, Rumbidzai admitted to feeling a whirlwind of emotions as she prepared for the journey.
“I’m honestly a mix of emotions excited and nervous at the same time. But more than anything, I feel proud. I’m carrying the hopes of a whole nation. That alone gives me the courage I need.”

The competition, set to take place in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, will see Rumbidzai compete against contestants from over 70 countries.
She promised to give it her all, and hopes her preparation will shine .

“I’ve been preparing spiritually, mentally, and physically. This journey has taught me resilience, and I’m ready to stand tall in front of the world and represent my country with dignity,” she said.
Determined and confident, Rumbidzai made her intentions clear. “I am going to Egypt with one goal to bring the crown home. Zimbabwe deserves to win, and I’m working hard to make that happen.”
She also urged the nation to support her. “My people’s support keeps me going. I kindly ask Zimbabweans to vote, to cheer, to believe in me. Your love and energy give me strength I can’t do this without you.”
With a bright smile and national pride in her heart, Rumbidzai said , “No matter the outcome, I promise to give my best and make Zimbabwe proud. Let’s do this together.”
