The ceremony will be held at the Bulawayo theatre and the theme for this year is “Rio Carnival”.
The event will start at 6pm and end at 8pm.
Executive director for the modelling agency, Ricky Nathanson, said the graduation ceremony is to showcase high-end fashion.
He said there would be five female models and three male models graduating.
“Our theme this year will be Rio Carnival and we shall have high-end fashion from boutiques in the city. The eight models that will graduate comprise three males and five females,” said Nathanson.
He said 10 models from his agency would also take to the ramp in support of those graduating.
“There will also be 10 models from the agency, five males and five females who will take to the ramp to celebrate the day with their counterparts,” said Nathanson.
He said the models did courses in hair care, full grooming and fashion combinations among others.
“The course was designed at looking at hair care, beauty care, fashion combination, social etiquette, interviewing skills, role play and photographic modelling,” said Nathanson.
He said local hip-hop and Latin American dancing artistes will grace the show.
“People like Proud of You (POY), Lady Thug and Kings Breed will be offering entertainment,” said Nathanson.
He said advertising agencies did not appreciate the importance of models and how they influence sales for their clients.
“People do not see the value of having models for their commercials and this has proven a major setback. In Zimbabwe modelling is not viewed as a profession,” said Nathanson.
