AFRO-FUSION outfit, Mokoomba, kicked off their highly-anticipated Tusoma tour in style at the weekend in Bulawayo.
The band performed at Smokehouse in Bulawayo on Saturday.
The tour comes after their performance at Jah Prayzah’s album launches held in Harare and Bulawayo recently.
The Tonga outfit, who have won the hearts of many, will be touring seven countries in three continents.
Some fans believe the outfit is the best in Zimbabwe right now, when it comes to international appeal.
“Thanks to The Smokehouse for hosting us and to everyone who came to our gig in Bulawayo on Saturday,” reads the group’s post online.
Their second stop was at The River Brewery in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
The band is expected to make its third entrance at MTN Bushfire Festival in Malkerns, Swaziland, on June 26.
Mokoomba made their first entrance in 2008, after winning the Music Crossroads Inter-Regional Festival (IRF), in Malawi.
