CHURCH women have spread their wings across the country to meet in prayer for spiritual and material success.

Drawn from 26 different denominations, which include Missionary, Pentecostal and Apostolic faith churches, more than 1 000 women met at Methodist in Zimbabwe Inner City in Bulawayo on Friday, for prayers and empowerment.

People’s Trust chairperson, Reverend Ellen Mwale, told H-Metro that the women’s thrust is to see more women creating jobs for their families.

“We have come together as women from across the country to pray for family success.

“We started in Mutare then met in Harare and now we are here in Bulawayo meeting as women for prayers.

“Our main thrust is to see families prospering, creating jobs for themselves as well as spiritual and economic victory.

“We are also praying for peace.

“We are training each other to be prayer warriors as well as creators of business opportunities to provide food for our families,” said Rev Mwale.

She received five residential stands from Apostle Benjamin Murata’s wife, Ottilia Murata, for use by some of their members.
