he had parked his motorcycle along Glenelge Road in Borrowdale last week.
Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector James Sabau said the man withdrew US$6 013 from a bank at Sam Levy’s Village and stashed it in a satchel before putting it in the motorcycle box.
He was supposed to take the money straight to the company, but decided to visit a relative who resides at a house along Glenelge Road.
It is reported that he was then approached by the three robbers, two of them armed with knives. One of them pushed him from the motorcycle and he fell down
The other grabbed the satchel and ran into their get away vehicle — a dark blue Mazda MPV without number plates while the other one deflated the tyres of the motorcycle.
They then sped off heading towards Sam Levy’s village.
A report was made to the police and no arrests have been made.
