Mourinho dismisses Real departure reports

this summer.

But the Portuguese tactician – who admits his next job is likely to be in England – is adamant that an agreement is already in place
“I have no agreement with Real Madrid to go. I have signed nothing, that’s a nonsense,” Mourinho told RTP.

“The criticism? Nothing affects me, nothing bothers me. I do not go crazy nor do I get depressed. Nothing motivates me more than my own motivation.”
He was again quizzed about his future and said: “My future? I am not training outside of Spain, England, Italy or France.”

Mourinho was nominated for the 2012 Fifa Ballon d’Or Coach of the Year award, but he did not attend the gala and he criticised the voting policy.
Mourinho did not attend the Fifa Ballon d’Or gala because he was warned by some of those who voted for him as coach of the year that their votes showed up as supporting other candidates instead.

“Am I sorry for not having gone to the gala? No. It was the right decision,” Mourinho told RTP television on Tuesday in excerpts from an interview.
“One, two or three people called me saying they had voted for me but the vote showed up as cast for somebody else. So, I decided not to go,” he said.

“I’m accusing Fifa of irregularities in the vote for best manager in the world. There was a lack of transparency. Fifa was aware of these irregularities, knowing they were there, but did nothing to avoid them.”

Fifa denied Mouirinho’s claims.
The Portuguese coach and former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola lost the 2012 Fifa coach award to Spain’s Vicente del Bosque at January’s gala.
Fifa said in a statement: “Fifa confirms that the list of votes published on Fifa.com is accurate.”

Meanwhile, there may be a plethora of talent at Real Madrid but when asked to pick his favourite player, Mourinho elected against choosing one of his Bernabeu stars.
Instead, the Madrid boss has selected an upcoming opponent by naming Didier Drogba, who played under the 50-year-old at Chelsea.

Real Madrid clash with Drogba’s Galatasaray in the Champions League quarter-finals next month and Mourinho lavished praise on the 35-year-old by describing him as “out of this world.”

Mourinho was in Turkey last weekend to watch Galatasaray as they won 3-1 in a Turkish top flight match at Kayserispor, with Drogba playing the full 90 minutes.
The Ivorian hitman was signed by Mourinho from Marseille for Chelsea in 2004 in a £24 million deal, and the duo helped the Blues to back-to-back Premier League titles in 2005 and 2006 before the Portuguese was sacked by the west London side a year later.

Mourinho told Real Madrid TV: “You have given me the chance to say that these types of things you see in the press don’t bother me, because Drogba knows who I am and what I feel in my heart for him, but maybe people could think they were true.

“Picture this: I go to Turkey, I’m working, I watch the match, I head off before the end and then there are statements from me saying bad things about Drogba.
“I’m not going to say that he is my favourite player because I have had a lot of truly special players, but if I had to choose one I might go for Didier. As a player he is out of this world. I would like to have him by my side, so just imagine.

“It’s impossible that I would talk bad about Drogba. There is no problem because he knows that the last thing I would do is to say anything negative about my relationship with him.”

Mourinho also refused to rule out returning to Inter Milan at some stage of his career.
The 50-year-old won the treble which included the Champions League, Serie A and the Italian Cup with Inter in 2010 before leaving for Madrid, and admitted the thought of returning to Milan would excite him.

Mourinho said: “I spent two fantastic years in Italy, at Inter. I do not know if I will go back someday, but if I do it will be with great pleasure and excitement.” – Soccernet.
