Mourners in accident

A kombi driver carrying mourners was assaulted by a motorist on ED Mnangagwa Road at Lewisam on Saturday. 

The assault was prompted by the kombi hitting the back of the motorist’s vehicle. 

Some residents and motorists intervened to restrain the motorist after mourners teamed up to defend their driver. 

Three kombis with stickers of the deceased, stopped at the scene, causing a traffic jam that stretched to Highland Park. The accident was not reported to the police, and both drivers made peace with each other.
