A MAGISTRATE has told a man to stop harassing his ex-wife and move on with his life.
“You were lovers but she doesn’t love you anymore. Stop harassing her and move on. “There are many women out there who are also searching,” Tancy Dube said at the Western Commonage Magistrates’ Court as she ordered Victor Ndlovu, 34, ex-hubby to Majority Ndlovu, 37, to stop harassing her.
Majority, a Bulawayo traffic cop, who recently doused Victor while he was asleep with paraffin before attempting to torch his privates, turned the tables on her husband when she applied for a protection order.
In granting her the protection order, Dube told Victor: “You must stop harassing your ex-wife and move on with your life.”
Majority, of Cowdray Park, is accusing Victor of being abusive.
In her affidavit, Majority said: “Victor Ndlovu has been abusing me both verbally and emotionally. He recently filed a report of physical abuse against me and that has really affected me and my children psychologically.
“My fear is that if he continues to come where I stay it will further worsen the situation as he has on many occasions threatened to kill me and harassed me verbally in front of our children.”
The courts also barred Victor from visiting his ex-wife’s home. Victor is, however, denying harassing Majority. He has also dragged his wife to the criminal court for allegedly attempting to burn his private parts following a domestic feud.
The matter is still pending at the Western Commonage Magistrates’ Courts.
