A FUSION of marimba, percussion and superb drum-beating, complementing deep house music under one roof, is all the group Movement Band can offer.
The group has since settled at Habhana Lounge in Harare.
Its slot, which is hosted on Saturdays, has become popular with fans.
Events management guru, Wanisayi “Mahwindo” Mutandwa, said it was high time that people got a taste of variety after a busy week of hard work.
Quality entertainment is all people who work hard need in life, noted Mahwindo.
“The fun usually starts on Thursdays when the venue hosts its ladies’ night show.
“We give free shots of tequila to the beautiful ladies throughout the night.
“On Friday (tonight) we host the Fresh Fridays with DJ Langton B and King Her during the Amapiano night,” she said.
Saturday sessions have become popular after the management included Movement Band.
Reggae lovers are the biggest winners as dancehall sessions are back by popular demand.
“On Sunday we host a slot dubbed Mad Sunday.
“Popular emcee, Etherton B and Garry B, plus live band performances from House of Stone, is guaranteed,” said Mahwindo.
She said it will be Etherton B’s first performance at the venue.
Etherton B and his new partner in crime, Garry B, are tried-and-tested performers.
“It’s the first Sunday for Etherton B and Gary B to come and play at Habhana Lounge.”
