MPs, stakeholders in high level dialogue on GBV

Members of Parliament and stakeholders drawn from civil society and diplomatic community are meeting for a high level dialogue to commemorate the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence.

The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence is commemorated from November 25 to December 10 each year.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the commemorations of the days.

Stakeholders attending the dialogue have said the Covid-19 pandemic-induced lockdowns resulted in an increase in gender-based violence.
