PREPARATIONS for the 2015 Mr and Ms Zimbabwe contest are progressing well as partners have confirmed they will be part of the biggest event on the local body-building and fitness competition set for this Saturday in Harare.
The event’s organisers are happy with the preparations and the support they have been receiving from the corporate world.
The event will attract top body-builders from across the region and Isaac “Sugar” Chimuchenga, fresh from winning the Mr Botswana contest, will renew his rivalry with Champion “Mbewe” Chienderamwano.
Quiet Shangai, the National Federation of Zimbabwe Body-builders and Fitness spokesperson, said the preparations were on course and the athletes were ready for the big occasion.
“The preparations are well on course and we have managed to conclude contracts with a number of sponsors and Texas Chickens will be the platinum sponsor and the event will be named after them.
“There are also corporates like Pepfa Electro Sales, Universal Furnishers, and Royal Flair Events who are also supporting us.
“Other partners like Bodytech Health Club, Kwamambo, Celebrity, Hallsteads, Guard Alert, Trust me Security, Crystal Candy, Tram Graphics, Farai Butchery, Mamasi, Ladale Engineering, as well as individuals, have also come on board,” said Shangai.
Tickets for the big day are already on sale.
