South Africa-based muso, famously known as Jaycee, who won the 2025 Bulawayo Arts Awards (BAA) Song of The Year courtesy of his smash hit Ungayithi Vuu, has dedicated his triumph to the Insiza District, in Matabeleland South, as a way of paying homage to the love and support he received from the community that raised him.

The artiste who rebranded to “Mr Ungayithi Vuu,” said the win is a result of hard work, dedication and commitment.
“Winning the BAA is a huge blessing. We are still celebrating as Insiza. As uGodlwayo, this award means everything to us. Honestly, I can say that the way in which people loved this song is amazing, and for that, I am honouring them with this accolade,” he said.

Mr Ungayithi Vuu said this year he is looking forward to opening his first-ever professional recording studio in Filabusi, and he also plans to host more musical events in Insiza.
