A BULAWAYO man has been on the run since April after allegedly stabbing another man repeatedly, resulting in his death.
Bulawayo provincial police spokesperson Inspector Nomalanga Msebele told B-Metro detectives are looking for
Edgar Msebele (not related) for the murder of Sunboy Ncube.
Edgar, originally from Phumuza South Village in Bulilima District, was residing at 117 Fairview, Umguza District, when he committed the crime.
On 30 April 2026, Edgar allegedly attacked Ncube following an undisclosed misunderstanding.
Like a man possessed, he repeatedly stabbed the victim, before fleeing from the scene and leaving Ncube bleeding profusely.
The victim sustained multiple stab wounds and was rushed for medical treatment. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
Since the incident, police have been searching for the suspect, whose whereabouts remain unknown.
Insp Msebele appealed to anyone who may have information about Msebele’s location or movements to come forward and assist with investigations.
Members of the public with information are urged to contact ZRP Nkulumane on 0292-496756, the investigating officer, Sergeant Chindume, on 0773 627 918, or report to their nearest police station.
The provincial spokesperson urged anyone harbouring the fugitive or withholding information on his whereabouts to cooperate with law enforcement so that the matter can be brought before the courts.
