ORLANDO Pirates yesterday announced the capture of Zimbabwean winger Daniel Msendami, who has joined the club on a permanent transfer from Marumo Gallants as they strengthen their squad for the 2025/26 Betway Premiership campaign.
The Soweto giants confirmed on their social media pages that agreements have been reached with Gallants for both Msendami and Mpho Chabatsane, with the moves concluded on an immediate basis.
Msendami impressed at the recent AFCON tournament and has earned praise for his pace and creativity on the wing. His performances for both club and country helped make him one of the standout attacking talents in the region.
Following the completion of all clearances, Msendami and Chabatsane will link up with the Pirates squad in camp in the North West Province under the guidance of the technical staff. Orlando Pirates believe the new signings will add valuable depth and healthy competition as they prepare for a crucial second half of the season.
Pirates also commended Marumo Gallants’ leadership for the “professional and cooperative manner in which the deal was handled,” and concluded their announcement with: “Orlando Pirates Football Club welcomes Daniel Msendami and Mpho Chabatsane and wishes them every success in this establishment.”
