A 26-YEAR-OLD student from Midlands State University (MSU) has been missing since April 28.

Chipo Mavura was last seen coming from a hostel, where she had gone to make tea, at around 10pm.

She was wearing a pair of blue jeans, army green sneakers, a maroon jacket and has blonde braids.

Her husband, Owen Chamukuza, said they searched for her until midnight to no avail and they have reported the matter to the police.

“We are both in our final year at university and we were studying together when she asked to go and make tea at the hostel.

“She went and made the tea with her friend and left the hostel.

“I realised something was amiss when she took long to respond to my messages on WhatsApp, that’s when we started looking for her.

“We went to every mortuary, and hospital in Gweru, but she’s not there. We have two children together and she has no form of illness,” said Owen.

Anyone with information on Chipo’s whereabouts can contact Owen on 0782 763 938 or 0777 549 989.
