MSU student peddles drugs for tuition fees

Wynne Zanamwe, Midlands Reporter
A MIDLANDS State University (MSU) student told a court he sells dagga to raise school fees.
Bruce Jeremiah of Kilwinning Road in Hatfield, Harare, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession or use of dangerous drugs when he appeared before Magistrate Mr Tavengwa Chibanda.

The magistrate fined him $100 or 90 days imprisonment.

The dagga weighing 0.099kg was forfeited to the State for burning. In passing sentence, Mr Chibanda said the accused is a first offender who pleaded guilty thereby not wasting the State’s resources.  – @wynnezane.
