MSU take advantage in promotion play-off

Justice Mwale did justice to the competition when he scored Munyati’s consolation goal in the 77th minute.
The second leg is set for Gweru’s Ascot Stadium next Saturday.

The Godfrey Chuchu-coached MSU will seek to finish off their opponents to book a date for the final play-off match against Gwanda United who beat Town United in the Matabeleland South leg of the competition.
These play-offs seek to determine the 18th team in the Central Soccer League whose promotion to the Premier  Soccer League has been delayed due  to the Hardbody/Tripple B saga which is

set for the Commercial Arbitration Centre.

The other four confirmed new teams are Gwanda’s Jessie Mine and Strikers FC of Beitbridge from Matabeleland South Province and Midlands’ Gokwe Warriors and FC Platinum Under-19.
