happy that most of our participants are taking their training seriously and we are looking forward to a good performance at the World Cup and other forthcoming competitions.

“We are having our training sessions at the Zimbabwe Gymnasium where we meet all the competitors who are going to represent the country at this international events,” said Muchatuta.
The World Gymnastic Games have been scheduled for July 7 to 14 in Cape Town. Kyle Rodgers, Andrew Mawerera, Lameck Chibedura, Cheryl Muchatuta and Mercy Doriyo are the coaches who are helping in preparing the gymnasts.
African Championship bronze medallist, Kudzaishe Nyazvingo, believes he will make the country proud at the World Gymnastics Games where he aims to scoop a gold medal. I am very happy with the training I’m having and I believe I will get a gold medal this time, especially in artistics.
“I got a bronze at the African Championships and now I am aiming at a gold medal. I can do it because I have some good coaches,” said Nyazvingo.
Nyazvingo was the only Zimbabwean participant who scooped a medal at the African Championships which were held in South Africa last year.
