Muchenje appointed Schweppes MD

SCHWEPPES Holdings Africa Limited has announced the appointment of Mr Stanley Muchenje as the new managing director, effective 1 May 2025.
This comes after the retirement of Mr Charles Nkululeko Msipa end of last month, who saved the company for 20 years from 2005.

In a statement, Schweppes board chairman Mr Vulindlela Ndlovu said Mr Muchnje joined Delta Beverages in 1997, where he held senior positions in sales, distribution, and marketing.

He further said the newly appointed managing director holds several academic and professional qualifications, including a Bachelor of Business Studies (HONS), IMM (SA), MPHIL Marketing, and Accelerated Leadership Development Program (SAB Miller/Gordon Institute).

“The board of Schweppes Holdings Africa Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Stanley M Muchenje as the managing director of Schweppes Holdings Africa Limited, effective 1 May 2025,” said Mr Ndlovu.
“Prior to his appointment, Stanley was the managing director of African Distillers since 2021.

“The board, management, and staff of Schweppes Holdings Africa Limited extend their congratulations to Stanley on his appointment and wish him success in his new role.”
