Mudarikwa: The moonwalk dance ‘king’

Mudarikwa, who was the guest speaker at the event, took to the stage and performed the moonwalk dance, popularised by the late king of pop in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
The moonwalk is a dance technique that presents the illusion of the dancer being pulled backwards while attempting to walk forward.
Dressed in a cowboy hat, cargo pants and matching shirt, MP had many of the guests at the event mesmerised and in awe as he complemented performances by Jah Prayzah and his group.
Some in the crowd could be heard saying Mudarikwa should try his hand in arts when he retires from politics.
As if it was not enough, the politician delivered a speech that was rich in idioms and rhyming words.
Mudarikwa proved that he could actually give stand-up comedians Carl Joshua Ncube a good run for their  money, as he cracked jokes to the delight of those in attendance. When he finally left stage, he was duly rewarded with a standing ovation.
Speaking at the sidelines of the event, Mudarikwa said he was happy that Jah Prayzah was fast becoming a shining beacon of Uzumba and was ready to assist him.
“When he came to me with the idea of having a birthday party for his mother here, I was fully supportive of the idea since he is a role model for many youths,” he said.
The MP helped in providing security details, an ambulance and a generator.
Mudarikwa was in the company of Zanu-PF Politburo Member, Tendai Savanhu.
