Mudiwa Hood, Pastor G invade City of Kings

All is set for the Happy People Concert that is slated for Word of Life in Bulawayo tonight. The gospel show which is expected to set Bulawayo ablaze will feature performances by Sunshine City Choir, Mudiwa Hood, Pastor G, saxophonist Joseph Chinouriri and Ex Mile.Event organiser Pardon Mutsago said everything was in place for the gospel gig that will be kicking off at 6pm.
“All the performing artistes are raring to make an impact and I can promise gospel lovers that they will be in for a treat.

“We have made sure that we bring in contemporary genres to the concert so that music lovers, especially the youths and those with urban tastes, can enjoy the show,” he said.

Mutsago revealed that the Bulawayo gig was only the beginning as they are set to tour the country under the Happy People banner.
Sunshine City Choir director Mark Madzinga said his group was ready to give a show that would not be easily forgotten.

“We have been doing rehearsals for the past two weeks and we are now more than ready to deliver,” he said.

The Street Preacher, as Pastor G is also known, said fans should expect to have a good time at the show.
“Those who are to grace the event should just expect a good time in the presence of the Lord as we praise in harmony,” said Pastor G.
