Some roads, including Lake Drive in Kariba have been rendered impassable following mudslides caused by heavy rains, which fell on Thursday afternoon.
Heavy rains with strong, gusty winds of up to 40 knots fell from around midday to around 2 pm.
The most affected parts include the stretch between Waterfront Resort and Mahombekombe Turn-off, Ariel Hill, and some roads where thick mud and rocks have covered the road.
An ambulance is currently stuck in the mud near Waterfront Resort.
