UNITED Kingdom-based former Warriors’ goalkeeper Muzondiwa Mugadza donated a number of computers to Mzilikazi Primary on Thursday last week as a way of giving back to the community that groomed him to be the person he is today.
In an interview, the former Zimbabwe Saints and AmaZulu goalkeeper said he was not seeking fame in the donations he made but only a token of appreciation.
“I don’t have much to say but just to say thank you for accepting my small gifts towards these two fantastic institutions and to make it categorically clear that I am not seeking any relevance by this goodwill gesture,” he said.
He said what maters the most to him is the future of the children.
“What I can say is also that what matters to me is the future of these kids, as the old age says “sharing is caring” so I felt the need to give the little I could spare for these little ones hoping that it will go a long way,” said Mugadza.
Mzilikazi played a huge role in his career thus he felt obliged to give back where he was moulded.
The handover was made by his mother on his behalf Mrs Mugadza to the school head, a Mr Dlamini.
