Zimhip-hop artiste Runna Rulez is set to keep his impressive run going with the release of a new single today, adding another chapter to a career that has gathered remarkable momentum over the past two years.
The track, which will be available on all major digital streaming platforms, arrives at a time when the rapper is enjoying growing recognition as one of the country’s most promising voices in hip-hop.
Born Runyararo Chari in Chitungwiza, Runna Rulez burst onto the scene in 2023 under the mentorship of Bling4 after featuring on Takano Eazer from the Getto Yut EP. The collaboration introduced him to a wider audience and laid the foundation for a career that has continued on an upward trajectory.
He soon cemented his place in the local hip-hop landscape with the release of Murume, before unveiling his debut project, Skunyu (The Conquering Son), last year. The project showcased his lyrical ability and versatility, featuring collaborations with Young Gemini and Bagga.
Runna Rulez has maintained that momentum throughout 2026, consistently releasing new music while expanding his fan base. Among his standout releases this year is the trending single SPOON, featuring Voltz JT, which has enjoyed a warm reception from hip-hop lovers.
His growing influence was further recognised at this year’s Zim Hip Hop Awards, where he walked away with the People’s Choice Award.
