JOHANNESBURG. — Zimbabwean coach Wilfred Mugeyi wants to make good use of the international break by working on South African Premiership side AmaZulu’s weaknesses.
Mugeyi is in temporary charge of the Durban team. The KwaZulu-Natal side are rooted at the bottom of the PSL standings at the moment, without a single victory this season, and Mugeyi is hoping to turn things around in no time.
“I have hope that we’ll turn the corner because we’re not playing badly, it’s just that luck has deserted us,” Mugeyi told his club’s official website.
The former Zimbabwe international also emphasised the need to improve their finishing in front of goal, as his troops have missed a lot of opportunities thus far.
“Look we did well especially against Kaizer Chiefs and we needed to convert our chances, but we couldn’t.
So, my focal point is to sharpen our finishing during this international break,” he said.— Agencies
