ZIMBABWE squash champion, Blessing Muhwati, says he owes a lot to his brother, Simba.
It is difficult to ignore the contributions the two brothers have made in the development of the sport in Zimbabwe.
The Muhwati brothers are former Prince Edward School athletes, but Blessing appears to be primed to take the family name higher.
He has been the country’s top junior squash player since 2009.
He is looking to do better than his brother, who is now a top coach in the United States.
“I realised that I have a lot of potential for the sport and only the sky will be my limit.
“I am very confident that I will be among Zimbabwe’s top coaches in squash.
“I come from a big family and I look up to my role model, who is my brother Simba, he is a professional coach for squash in the United States.
“He is also one of the top junior coaches in the States.
“Simba is really one person that I look up to and one day I want to be like him.”
He said he wanted to be a footballer when he was growing up.
